　　more than意为“非常”，其后接表感情色彩的形容词。如：

　　I'm more than happy to deliver the goods to your house. 我很乐意为您送货上门。

　　more than还可指“不仅仅是”。如：

　　We are more than friends. 我们不仅仅是朋友。

　　no more than意为“只是，仅仅”。如：

　　It is no more than 15 minutes' walk from my office to my home. 从我的办公室到我家只有15分钟的路程。

　　not more than意为“至多，不超过”。如：

　　I have not more than 500 RMB in my wallet now. 现在我的钱包里顶多只有500元。

　　These summer days are getting to be more than I can take.

　　点睛

　　get to意为“逐渐”。than此处引导的是比较状语从句，其中take意为“忍受，容忍，承受”，因此more than I can take应理解为“超出了我能承受的范围”。
